Responsible Gambling Council

The Responsible Gambling Council (RGC) is a respected, independent non-profit organization. We have been a leader in the prevention of problem gambling in Canada and globally for more than 40 years. RGC has more than two decades of experience, developing and delivering gambling awareness and prevention education programs for youth and young adults in Ontario, across Canada and in other jurisdictions. Our vision of “a world where gambling never comes at a human cost” is rooted in the pillars of prevention (helping to prevent gambling harms in the first place) and mitigation (helping individuals and organizations take effective action when problems arise). With funding provided by the Ministry of Health, RGC is committed to reducing youth gambling harms by equipping educators, administrators, parents and professional staff with evidence-informed resources, tools, and supports to foster prevention and informed decision-making.
