Region of Waterloo

Region of Waterloo Children’s Services, is the Service System Manager for the Early Years and Child Care (EYCC) sector in Waterloo Region and plays a leadership role in strengthening and sustaining a high-quality, responsive early years workforce. This includes supporting sector-wide workforce recruitment efforts, promoting early years and child care as a meaningful and rewarding career choice, and helping to build awareness of the diverse opportunities available within the field. Children’s Services also works in partnership with Conestoga College to support educational pathways that encourage entry into the profession and create opportunities for ongoing learning and career development.
